What to do in this case to remove stubborn mineral deposits on glass shower doors or indeed screens is simply to use clear vinegar, bicarbonate of soda and salt....No armful chemicals here!
First spray the vinegar onto the shower door or screen and let it sit for around 10 minutes; then make up a paste using equal amounts of bicarbonate of soda and salt. Using a damp sponge rub the paste over the door, then rinse off well using warm water. Mildew on grouting is always a chore...But listen the good news is that mildew is really no problem at all when you use vinegar. Simply pour some clear vinegar into a container, then dip an old toothbrush or other small similar cleaning brush into the vinegar then scrub the mildew. Alternatively pour the vinegar into a spray bottle, spray over the affected areas, and let it remain there for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse with hot water and scrub with the toothbrush or small brush if required.
